Our parish
A parish with room for every season.
St James the Great is a place to worship, journey together, or simply come and see. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds into the life of this neighbourhood.
The shape of our life
Faith made visible in ordinary things.
Worship that welcomes
Our week has a regular rhythm of said and sung Eucharistic services, with informal opportunities too. There is space to arrive quietly, join in, or take things at your own pace.
A shared neighbourhood
We have a strong relationship with our neighbouring Church School, and the Parish Hall beside the church hosts organisations and activities for all ages.
A place held with care
Our churchyard is a blessing to the wider community: a place to remember loved ones, or to take a moment to pause and reflect. We care for it together, and we are committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults.
All ages
A community shaped by worship, school, hall life, and friendship.
Every week
A steady cycle of services, with room for informal worship.
Together
Practical care for people and place, shared across the parish.
